Natina THALIEN - Président et Fondateur de Peek-A-Boo
Peek-A-Boo Fraud Awareness, Prevention & Protection

Our Story

Peek-A-Boo Academy was founded by Natina Thalien (American & French), a seasoned professional in Fraud and Cybersecurity, who found herself increasingly concerned about the lack of cybersecurity awareness among individuals. As a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO) at an international company and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE), Natina witnessed firsthand the devastating consequences of cyber threats and fraud. Determined to make a difference, she decided to act by leveraging her expertise and passion for cybersecurity to educate individuals with a high focus on minors about online safety and fraud awareness.  Natina is also a Certified Board Member trained from IFA (Institut Français des Administrateurs), SciencesPo program, bringing a wealth of strategic governance expertise and international perspective to her role as the founder and CEO of Peek-A-Boo Academy.

In 2017, Natina began to speak to students about cyber-fraud, and in 2020, she authored a book titled "Peek-a-Boo," which aimed to raise awareness about cybersecurity and fraud among minors. The book quickly gained popularity and became a valuable resource for parents, educators, and teenagers seeking to learn more about cybersecurity threats and how to protect themselves online.

Driven by her mission to empower individuals with the knowledge and skills to stay safe in cyberspace, Natina began speaking at schools, community events, and expertise conferences to deliver engaging presentations on cybersecurity and fraud awareness. These lectures and relatable anecdotes resonated with individuals, especially teenagers, inspiring them to take proactive steps to protect themselves online.

Realizing the impact she could make on a larger scale, Natina founded Peek-a-Boo Academy, a cybersecurity certification program tailored specifically for individuals appropriate to their age group. Peek-a-Boo's mission was clear:  ''to provide comprehensive cybersecurity education that empowers people to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.''

Since its founding, Peek-a-Boo is expected to experience steady growth, attracting a diverse customer base of schools, parents, children/teenagers, and Corporations that are eager to learn about cybersecurity.  The idea is to create the awareness and grow the AMBASSADOR program, so that an ARMY of people are learning and sharing as we all advance through innovations and technological advancement landscapes.

Our Vision

Peek-a-Boo's vision revolves around addressing the critical need for comprehensive cybersecurity education tailored specifically for teenagers, who are increasingly vulnerable to cyber threats and online dangers. The market encompasses a wide range of stakeholders, including teenagers and their parents, educators, schools, and community organizations, who are concerned about online safety and digital literacy among youth.

Currently, the market for cybersecurity education for teenagers is underserved, with limited options for age-appropriate and engaging programs that effectively teach essential cybersecurity skills. While there are various online resources and educational materials available, they often lack interactivity, relevance, and comprehensive coverage of cybersecurity topics.

Peek-a-Boo aims to fill this gap by offering a holistic cybersecurity certification program that combines online courses, live workshops, and educational materials designed specifically for teenagers. The program provides interactive and engaging learning experiences that empower teenagers to navigate the digital world safely and responsibly.
